100 Mile Diet show on Food Network

In our grandparents’ time, living on a 100 mile diet wasn’t that strange. But today we can just as easily buy New Zealand lamb as Canadian, and we can get pineapples and mangoes from the tropics as conveniently as we can get apples from Ontario or BC.
While this gives us tremendous choice at our supermarkets, many of us have come to learn that having access to farm fresh local produce is almost always best.
