Food Day is a national celebration of restaurateurs, suppliers, growers, farmers and citizens joining together to show the world the depth and breadth of Canada as a culinary nation.

Over 120 of the top Canadian restaurants are on board, with many more to come.  Restaurants participating in Manitoba include: Fusion Grill in Winnipeg, Manitoba (a Keystone Processors customer); Chris’s Café in Rivers, Manitoba and Churchill Wild in Churchill, Manitoba.

July 31st marks the 8th annual coast-to-coast-to-coast event, heralding our regional diversity, culinary creativity and world-renowned reputation for throwing an amazing party! This year we encourage you to make Keystone Processors a part of your Food Day Canada celebration. What better occasion to experience Manitoba’s premium, locally raised beef for the first time then on a day designated to celebrate local beef producers.

Food Day was originally introduced in 2003 as The World’s Longest BBQ and was launched in order to help Canadian Beef farmers deal with the wave of difficulties brought on by US and world beef bans. Our St. Patrick’s Day 25% off sale is proving to be very popular. Our T-bone steaks are now temporarily sold out. We should have more in stock soon. We have to age the steaks first, so it’ll be at least three weeks.

Keystone Processors Ltd. has stopped producing Halal-certified beef for the time being. The company plans to resume production and sales of Manitoba-raised Halal beef once our plant upgrades are complete. We thank you for your interest in Keystone’s Halal beef and appreciate your patience as we work to bring Manitoba Halal beef back to the market.

On behalf of the hundreds of cattle producers who have helped make Keystone Processors possible, we want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas, happy Hanukah and a happy new year too.

We have an exciting year ahead of us as we continue our plant renovations and upgrades. Parts of the old building will need to be torn down to make way for new construction. Our retail store will be “beefed up” (pardon the pun) as we hope to win plenty of new local customers with the great taste of our delicious, premium Manitoba raised beef.

Meanwhile, we are also ramping up our marketing activities, meeting with buyers and potential buyers all over Canada, the U.S. and the world.

As you gather with your friends and family this holiday season, we hope you’ll find peace and health and happiness. And we also hope you’ll enjoy all of that while carving into a succulent piece of Manitoba beef from Keystone Processors.
